We took the Bertini on a great run to the
Welsh coast for the first time in ages. It took a straightforward
route from the Montford picnic spot via Newtown and Machynlleth to
Aberdyfi.
Amazingly, five cars stayed together the whole trip and were able
to park together on the sea front. Later arrivals chose their own
spot.
Light entertainment was provided by seagulls who snatched some fish and a bread roll from the hands of two of our number. Interestingly, they did not attack our picnic and we suspect they only understand fish and chips and bread. They certainly did not like spring onions.
We took a more northerly route home past Llyn Mwyngil and it was clear I was out of practice at conducting the Bertini on all those twisty Welsh roads as my arms ached by the finish.
