What a brilliant day this was, 9 cars met at Nesscliffe Service Station, including the odd unexpected one! However, 12 cars arrived at the lunch stop! We set off and were joined by Phil Tudor in his Tiger cat at Halfway House and then Emlyn joined us at the planned coffee stop, which was closed!
On to Devil`s Bridge and then the wondercul road round the lakes and down to the visitor Centre. As it was such a beautiful day, The Bikes were Out in force but seeing there was going to be a long queue in the cafe I jumped out while Roger parked the car so we got ahead of dozens of bikers who arrived after us! Then I met Darren Pagan, a new member, who had followed his sat nav and arrived via Rhaeadr having completely missed the run round the reservoires! Death to sat navs I say.
This
the most beautiful run you can imagine, if you don`t know it, do take a
trip, but perhaps armed with a picnic on a sunny day!
