A select group of 11 cars travelled on some roads
that were new to many of us to arrive at the Chocks Away Diner at
Hawarden airport for lunch. Only a few spots of rain fell on the 5 cars
with hoods down but the fine views were slightly obscured by the mist
and clouds.
There was not a lot to see at the airport compared to, for example,
Shobdon but the diner served good food in quantity at very reasonable
prices.
